Little warrior Kiean Boughen was at Fat Cats today for Coventry.
Ridding with tonsillitis, First race Kiean had a bad start and wasnabout 8th to the first corner. After a couple of Laps he was up to 2nd place with first about 3 quarters of a lap in front, with 2 laps to go Kiean managed to catch and take 1st place. Second race Kiean got took out off the start in the first corner… and had a big off landing him in deep water soaking the boy -DNF. Third race and the clutch went -DNF.
Junior and AMX riders Jordan Gull and Sean Bardwell were at Chippenham today for EASSC.
Jordan, taking to the track for his first race of 2013 on the 65cc machine. Jordan had a great start although getting blocked going into the first corner he manages to come out the other side in the top half of the pack. Jordan settled into a good race pace riding smart so not crash. He keeps this pace to the flag and finishes 5th. Second race would see Jordan fifth round the first corner and on a charge, slowing moving up the pack only to have another rider jump out of a right in front of him and take him out. He remounted after sometime and dug deep to cross the line 9th. Last race of the day and Jordan again around fifth coming out the first corner. Riding the race to the flag with minimal fault and good line he would take the flag 6th and secure 7th overall.
Sean was on good form today once he got past the arm pump and two crashes in the first race to finish 10th. He then went on to take two 6th places in the second and third races for 5th overall after not riding much over the winter.
